Dave and I are in the studio – wrapping the backing vocals on “Here I Am”, which is now begging for some Alex Doty guitar squealing.
This track will definitely be on the Shhhhout! E.P….in fact, I think it’s the last one we have to wrap up for it, and here it is nearly done… :D If you’ve been to our last few shows, you’ve heard this song, and a few others whose recorded versions we’ve been keeping under cover, they are so delicious.
We should have a party when we unwrap them. Like a release party. Do people still do that? Would you like to come?
I’m being silly, of course you would come, and bring cupcakes I’m sure. How did you know red velvet is my favorite?
Got to go, Dave is doing some truly unspeakable things to my vocals, and if I don’t keep an eye on him I won’t know how he did it!! And then how will I be able to get my Imogen Heap on?????
