Hey all

Haven’t had a chance to post for almost a week here, my apologies! My brain has been exploding with musical ideas right and left, so I’ve been trying to take advantage of the inspiration and write some new music. I am pleased with the results, especially when they are given even the most preliminary Dave Tweedie treatment!! He can take ideas right out of my head and give them form in under 5 minutes that sounds like a band has been working on them for weeks. Collaboration rules.

I received my first ASCAP check! Dated Jan. 4, I got it last week; I’m not quitting my day job (yet) but it is a milestone for any aspiring songwriter, truly.

Looks like we might get a chance to go to Japan and play – how do you like that?? When I was younger envisioned a jaunt about the globe, with a guitar, singing my way from Japan to Johannesburg, Melbourne to Milan…..

We’ll see. As YOU can see, my dreams are alive and well :) I’m ABSOLUTELY ahead of myself, but I am on the right path.

In closing, my observation for the week:

When you are on the right path…. it is easy to do the right thing.
